The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable.
When I arrived, the hotel appeared utterly deserted and neglected. This lack of communication is unacceptable. A courtesy email or call could have saved me time and effort.

I found the hotel's location marvellous and lovely, near the nearest shop/pub, the Highlands, and many areas.

Loved a luxurious stay with peaceful location to castles etc and a breakfast included. The rooms were a nice size with free Wi-Fi. Location: the hotel was very close to the nearest shop/pub, the Highlands and back garden. Everything was simply good.

The bar lounge was a cozy little gem where I enjoyed freshly brewed coffee that rivaled any café. Albeit on a busy road, had its own charm.
The place felt deserted. While I would've loved a heads-up before my long drive, it only gave me a good story to tell over a pint later!

This place was totally deserted when I arrived, how charming! You'd think they'd at least send an email before making me drive 300 miles, but apparently courtesy costs nothing. And after all that, I didn't even receive a full refund, how generous! Oh, the bar must be cozy, but , it woudl ve been nice to get better treatment.

I checked in at 3 pm, but left just 30 minutes later. The room had dampness and bad odors. It had no windows or natural light. I didn't find it habitable even for one night. The hotel felt unclean from the outside.
Room condition, poor cleanliness

good location but noisy surroundings
The room was spacious and allowed for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the cozy bar lounge. It provided a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. While the amenities included free Wi-Fi and a tv, I especially enjoyed having a kettle in the room for my morning tea.
Unfortunately, the hotel is located on a very busy major road, making it quite noisy.

Needs Major Attention but Has Some Quirks
While the room was fairly pleasant, the lack of basic dining options and the absence of hot water were nice. It's a shame because the bar area was cozy and cute, but driving 6 miles for food felt unnecessary. I came away feeling like the place could definitely use some investment to reach its full potential.

I really enjoyed the comfy bed and the hot shower that worked like a charm! The peaceful garden area and the cozy lounge were perfect spots to relax after a long day. The only hiccup was the check-in process, which could be a bit smoother. 😊
